But I saw it in a separate display case in the store, it looked interesting, and I hadn't listened to any blues in a while, so I thought I'd give it a try. I am very glad I did. There's a lot of good ol' rollicking electric blues on this disc, including interesting interpretations of "Like a Hurricane" and "Shake Rattle and Roll," which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had heard his name and a song here and there over the years but hadn't realized what I was missing. Based on this CD I think Jeff Healey was very special ... figures he would die young ... many of my favorites did. His sound is unique and I cant wait to get more of his stuff.
