Editorial Review: Product Description: The KX-TG9334T DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone assures greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls. DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology lets you move freely around your home with long range and amazingly clear sound. Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, your phone will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens and other common household devices. Now you can program each handset to ring at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so that it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping. Now you don't have to be holding the phone to see who's calling. Using text-to-speech technology, the Caller ID2 information is announced between rings. The KX-TG9334T also boast a talking alarm clock that will tell you when it's time for lunch, and a talking battery alert that politely tells you when your battery is low with a Please Charge Phone reminder. Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phone's Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls. After the information is stored, your unwanted callers will receive a busy signal when they call you again. The Light-Up Indicator with Ringer Alert at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message.  Rating:  - Not completely satisfiedThis Panasonic does not work as far from the base as my 6 yr. old Panasonics did. It also loses contact easily with the base when it is on speakerphone. I should have taken my friends advice. She returned her recent purchase of same model Panasonic's and bought Uniden's, I used them at her house. They are superior and also comparably priced. Rating:  - Better than we expectedThese phones work terrific. They were set-up in minutes by my spouse, who is not technically inclined. We have wireless systems throughout our house with laptops, speakers, printers and door bells and have had no interference from these phones. The only thing I would do differently is to buy the set that has a dailing mechanism built into the base unit. They work clearly throughout our house even the basement area. One of the problems with my previous cordless phones was battery replacent costs(almost cheaper to buy a new phone). This sytem uses AAA NiMH batteries which are quite inexpensive to replace when it should become necessary. I also like the fact that you can add numbers to your library from any phone and it can then be used by any other phone on the system. Great clarity, talking caller id (you can program it to say something other than "call from Doe, John" to "call from Dad").
