Universal E-Cut Blade For Base and Flooring Work The FMM 250Q comes with several high-quality accessories, including one Fein 63502151018 Universal E-Cut Blade that's great for doorjambs, baseboards, baseboards, toe kicks, and flooring work. It's also perfect for wood, plaster, drywall, and synthetic and plastic materials. This blade features a finer tooth pattern for more control and longer blade life, and a flush cut design that allows for completely perpendicular cuts to flooring tight areas.
For tough jobs like lifting linoleum, carpet, adhesive residue, scale, paint, and tape, choose the Fein 63903178017 Rigid Scraper Blade, which can be re-sharpened for longer blade life. This system also includes the efficient Fein 63502106015 HSS Segmented Blade for fiberglass, carbon fiber, 20 gauge sheet metal, and harder woods. Segmented to cut right angles without over cutting, this flat, high-speed steel blade performs straight cutting in harder material, and can cut into corners with right angles. The system also includes one Fein 63502118016 Carbide-Tip Blade for cutting out damaged tile joints and for carving out grooves in plaster, porous concrete and similar construction materials.  Rating:  - Works pretty well but very expensiveSeems well-built. I've used the grout saw, the e-blade, the scraper and the segment blade. The e-blade and scraper were a little disappointing. The grout saw and segment blade worked great. I understand the sander works very well, too, but haven't tried that yet... The replacement blades seem a little over priced which is disappointing. I hope the tool pays for itself. Time will tell. Rating:  - Expensive but...My review will be just like most reviews of the Fein Multimaster. It's very expensive, the attachments are really expensive, but this tool does the job that other tools don't do. The first week I used it a half a dozen times. It really works, I'm glad I got, I wish the accessories were cheaper. Rating: - AmazingDoes just what they say. I had to straighten a wall where it ended at a closet opening. I was able to cut the nails in about 20 sec, with no damage to the sheetrock where it mattered, as the molding covered it. The wall could then easily be pushed into the correct position and renailed. I was dreading doing this work so tried to hire someone. They were going to charge me $150 dollars and use a sledge. I learned long ago not to skimp on tools as the good ones last a lifetime. The bit changing process is very easy and holds the tool very solidly. I tried cutting wood, and 1/8 " aluminum , cutting holes for my car speaker sheet metal, and sanding. It does everything well, and cuts through sheet metal much easier than the rotozip or dremel with metal cutting disk. To buy or not to buyThis tool is EXCELLENT BUT it is way overpriced and accessories are way to expensive. Dont get me wrong- I like it but for me personally I find a rotozip to be more useful for tile jobs. It is built solid to take some abuse. Not too heavy and easy to control.
