All-in-all, I had total idea what I was buying as I had already clicked tons of excellent pics with my friend's SD850. Its close angle shots turn out to be superb.. just like a professional photography! Shutter speed is satisfacorily high.. so u can click quick pictures one after other. But, if you are willing to spend the extra time to become familiar with the camera, it will make you a better photographer; at least your friends will think so as they see a better photograph. Rating: - Excellent cameraI did quite extensive research and decided to buy the Canon SD850 before a recent trip. It's an excellent camera within the price range of my budget and the feature I need. The two features I like the most are the macro and photo stitch. The macro feature is great for taking static picture of flowers, wild life etc. The photo stitch function is good for taking panoramic view.
