I have had it three months and it replaced a Hamilton Beach blade unit I had for some 30 plus years. I love the unit. Yes there is a very small amount of grinds that collect from static but if you want glass and no static, you should have purchased a more expensive unit. It works just like it is new and came packaged as though it was fresh from production. I had bought a reconditioned toaster oven from Cuisinart, and it worked great too!
