Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent Shredder for the $$
We had 2 other paper shredders that frustrated us to no end, when my daughter recommended this Fellows. My husband is in his glory with this new gadget. It shreds a lot more at one time than our other two shredders combined and we the the sensor to be a great feature as well.

No complaints; recommend

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - It's just ok.
When my old Fellowes shredder broke after 2 years (because I tried to shred some adhesive shipping tags and they wrapped around the axle), I decided to buy this model, especially since it appears to have a hole in front for regular garbage. Now I don't need a shredder and a trash can in my office, right? Wrong. The picture is misleading since that space in front is actually blocked by a clear plastic plate.

Finally, this motor seems very noisy and underpowered. Shredding just one ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - A Classic Example of False Advertising
One of the main reasons I purchased this shredder is that the specs clearly state that it "shreds up to 8 sheets per pass". I've never come close to getting eight sheets of paper to shred in this machine without incidents such as jamming or extremely labored operation. I don't have time to shred smaller quantities of paper so will probably end up replacing this newly purchased shredder with a different one. I would not purchase another one of these shredders.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Does the job
This shredder does the job. The safety shut off works well. Holds alot of shredded paper. Also unlike my last one it doesn't run along time after shredding. Only thing it doesn't do is crosscut. All in all I'm very happy with it. Not having to drive to the store and getting free shipping made it a great buy.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Solid Shredder
Works well. You can't overstuff it with too much paper (I haven't but I've noticed it would struggle more if you put more sheets through at once), but it'll take a few sheets at a time no problem. It is somewhat big, which is nice if you have the room, as you won't have to empty it as often. Shreds cards easily. The power switch is nice as cheaper shredders don't always have them and you have to resort to plugging and unplugging the power.
