Andrea Bocelli performs live at the Lake Las Vegas resort for this DVD and bonus CD, featuring some of the world's greatest love songs. In straying from the largely classical repertoire that helped shoot Bocelli to stardom, he is able to take more contemporary material and give it the sheen of timelessness. Most of the selections are in Italian, Spanish, or French--Romance languages, naturally. Highlights include the swoon-inducing "Amapole," the pitch-perfect "Canzoni Stonate," and even a reverent "Can't Help Falling in Love." Through it all, Bocelli's relaxed, self-effacing manner and confident delivery make for an intimate concert experience. Bocelli is also backed by a terrific group of talented musicians, including pianist and executive producer David Foster. A real show-stopper: Bocelli's duet with the Tony-winning Aida singer Heather Headley; the blending of their voices suggests the duets of Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstadt at their most sublime. There's only one real clunker: "Besame Mucho," which is so innately cheeseball that trying to deliver it sincerely only makes it more cheesy. Included is a CD with nine tracks, including a different version of "Can't Help Falling in Love," with a duet by American Idol's Katherine McPhee, and a soulful "Canzoni Stonate" with Stevie Wonder.  Rating: - Great ConcertIf you play it in 5.1 or 7.1 Home theater you will enjoy it a lot. Excellent concert with classic and romantic song. I recommended. Rating:  - Good concert I like Andrea Bocelli, he's got a great voice. But some of the songs in this concert are too flat, I didn't like half of the songs in this concert. The new DVD Vivere is much better! Rating: - ExcellentExcellent product and was received very fast, I couldn't find this product in any store but I was able to get it from amazon Rating: - Simply beautiful. I dont have any other way to express it. Sublime. Not only the selection of songs is amazing, but there is an atmosphere that I just cant remember having felt in any other concert. All this comes from somebody who, even recognizing Andrea is among the top singers in the world, is not a big fan. The orchestra is magnificent to say the least. Listening to DVD in DTS is an out of the world experience. Everybody should have a copy. Rating: - One of the greatest gifts I ever receivedListening to Bocelli sing great songs previously performed by other great singers was a pleasurable addition to a wonderful musical concert. There is no need to compare his performance with others, it's simply a different experience of great ageless songs like: can't help falling in love, September Morn, Somos Novios,.....
