 Rating:  - Great Product!I had gotten this product to update my old Office XP program. This program is much easier to use and doesn't lock up my system like the old one did. I especially love the OneNote program. It is very handy for taking notes and saving snap shots off the Internet when doing research of any kind. Rating: - Great for a studentThis version has all the functionality of the previous Office suites, but it adds things a student will love, like an automatic bibliography for papers and OneNote which is perfect for studying. Rating: - Great job, Microsoft!Let me start by saying that I was predisposed to hate this product. I got Office 2007 as part of a new Vista machine, and I was very unhappy with Vista (XP is much better in my opinion). However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the new version of Office (I have been using 2000 at home and 2003 at work). The ribbon takes some getting used to (and does eat up a good deal of screen real estate) but once I got the hang of it, it really made life easier compared to previous versions. ... Rating:  - buy standard for a bit more but worth itI was very familiar with word so this student version looks stupid because all the icons are different at the top. I had to relearn and some higher functions are not there. This version is good for someone that is NOT familiar with word already and wants to use it quickly for school stuff.
