Omron includes a chest transmitter belt with the wristwatch-style monitor. This transmitter sends data to the receiver on your wrist at a distance up to 98 feet (30 meters). Also included is a mounting bracket that makes it easy to attach the watch receiver to most treadmills and bicycles and a soft, zippered storage case.  Rating:  - Excellent, Works GreatI began cycling 5 weeks ago and I wanted to make sure that I stayed in the weight management zone of 60 to 70% of my max heart rate. It is the easiest monitor I have ever used. Great buy. Rating: - Very good dealI have had it for just over a month. I had by-pass surgery in June and my cardio-therapist recommended that I get a pulse monitor. This one had the best price. I am now going to the YMCA and some of the equipment has pulse monitoring built in. My monitor agrees most of the time with the built in monitors. Of course, I don't have any way to tell which is the most accurate. But my gut feeling is that the Omron is the closest. I would certainly recommend it. I get no signal when I'm in the water but as soon as I stand up in the pool it sends the heart rate to the watch. No problems so far. From Omron customer service: "The batteries are trial batteries and are only meant to last for about 6 months. The batteries are not covered under the warranty, therefore, we do not have them so send out." Rating: - Good Basic WatchIt is a good basic watch. It is easy to read and has a backlight.
