 Rating:  - Sturdy, easy to use and cleanThe food grinder attachment was easy to assemble and attach, and the instructions were clear. When run on 4, as the instructions advised, it ground quickly and evenly. I've ground beef and lamb through it with no problems. You do have to actively shove the meat down into the unit with the plunger; its design makes it very safe and easy to do so, but with the attachment mounted above the mixer it's a little awkward if you're reaching up to do this for very long. I mainly us it to grind my own chicken burger. It is faster, easier to clean and does a better job at grinding the fresh chicken breasts. I would recommend it to anyone with a KitchenAid stand mixer.
