I hate to sound like an old curmudgeon, but it seems as though even relatively expensive tools like this are simply not made well anymore. Even with something incredibly uniform and easy to spread, like limestone, this spreader was a horror. It would spread nothing, it would dump big thick lines, it would spread on one side of the hopper but not the other.
